Joe Campanale is partner and beverage director of L’Artusi, dell’anima, and Anfora in New York’s West Village. After earning a master’s degree in food studies from New York University and a diploma in Wines & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, Joe became a certified sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers and is currently a master of wine candidate. A former sommelier at Babbo Ristorante, he has appeared on national television shows including The Today Show and Martha.
I’ve worked with Joe in producing his eHow Food segments as Rachael Ray’s “Mixology Buddy”, where his laid-back approach to serious cocktails, wine, and beer make him the ideal bartender. Joe’s recipe video channel can be seen and savored on eHow Food.
